It is the mission of Decora Rugs to bring to our customers the largest and most diverse collections of area rugs available on the internet. We scrutinize every potential rug company that we showcase in terms of the quality of their rugs, the number of sku’s that they either manufacture or import and their stock positions which is important to our customers. We have rejected many manufacturers who would like to be part of our company. Since we feature only the most reliable and well respected manufacturers of rugs, it’s not easy to gain a spot on our site.
Bearing this in mind, Decora Rugs is proud to add “Global Accents” to our well respected list of the worlds leading suppliers of outstanding area rugs. Global Accents is a multi resource supplier of world class rugs. They do not dabble in areas of the rug market that fall outside of their primary range of expertise. As a result, all of their collections are hand made. This includes hand knotted and hand tufted rugs as well. Global Accents rugs are made with extraordinary combinations of wool, wool and silk, 100% silk and other natural fibers developed by master weavers who create these rugs from around the world. Presently, their collections are being produced in Pakistan, India, China, Nepal, Egypt and Iran. This is quite an impressive geographical manufacturing chain when one considers all of the diverse and excellent rugs produced by them. Recently, Global Accents relocated their headquarters to a 200,000 square foot facility in Torrance, California. It is here where their programmed rugs are primarily housed. They also maintain a satellite facility in Dalton, Georgia.
Global Accents offers a diverse lineup of area rugs. They range from very affordable hand tufted rugs to very fine hand knotted pieces who’s origins are Pakistan, India and Nepal. Global Accents rounds out their eclectic lineup of wonderful rugs by including leather shags and an extraordinary but small grouping of aubusson weaves, shag rugs and flat weaves. Global Accents covers the entire design spectrum inclusive of all styles of rugs available. This includes hand tufted Persian designs, beautiful and colorful Tibetan hand knotted rugs, flat woven leather rugs and so much more.
Be sure to to scour all of their collections including “Nepal“. This is a beautiful grouping of hand knotted Tibetans displaying unusual and sensational colors. Their best selling “Organica” collection of wool hand tufted area rugs has been in production for over a decade and are more popular now than ever before. This grouping displays oriental patterns and offers a unique luster wash which produces a soft, silky wonderful feel. “Petite Silk” is another outstanding grouping. Hand tufted in India of New Zealand wool and silk, this superb collection includes contemporary, transitional, floral and even modern designs.
Lastly look at the “Dynasty” collection, This is a wonderful and difficult to locate collection of art deco and Chinese carved rugs in sensational colors and beautiful designs. This look was all the rage a number of years ago but recently lost favor with the design community. Nevertheless there are an extraordinary number of people who love and want these area rugs. The problem is that very few still exist. The “Dynasty” collection fills this void with exceptional specimens usually not available. Hand tufted in China using 100% wool, this collection will end your search.
Global Accents has all the rugs you need. We are happy to welcome them to our website.

To those people in the business of area rugs, the very mention of
Shag is back! No it’s not because it never left, it’s just a whole lot better. Remember back in the 50’s and the 60’s. Of course you don’t, your to young. Well I do. Shag carpeting was a big craze back then. Your choice was area rugs or shag carpeting made from the least dense nylon you could imagine. Those area rugs would reveal the backing of the rugs by just gently spreading the surface yarn with your fingers. It wasn’t a very pretty sight and the carpet did not last very long.
Shag area rugs can be used anywhere and will beautifully compliment any room. Shag area rugs look fabulous as your living room rug sitting underneath leather furniture or solid color fabric. At the same time they’ll go great with the wildest patterns. They are great for spicing up an otherwise dull bathroom and they will create a very cool look in your contemporary to modern bedroom. There are so many great shag area rugs on our website that I truly don’t know where to begin. By all means look at as many companies rugs as you can, but be sure to view “
Let’s face it, the world is a different place today than it was just a decade ago. Everything it seems cost so much more. As consumers, we need to find the best prices for the things we wish to own without giving up anything in the way of quality.

Don’t be fooled by the number of collections that we show on the “Milliken Rugs collections page” because it is very misleading. A click of your mouse on the brand name Milliken, will allow you to view only twelve individual collections. Many other rug companies that we feature display many more than this number. The misconception is created by the fact that each

Once you have established the color of the couch, or what otherwise might be the main color of the most important piece of furniture in the room, its time to pick secondary colors for other furnishings. In this case, the couch is, let’s say brown. We’ll do the draperies in a solid or print green whose primary coloration is either a lighter or darker green than what is in the rug. Now let’s pick the coffee table. We go to the
